US Protection and Advocacy of Individual Rights Program

Program Description

Program of protection and defense of individual rights provides grants to states to support the systems of protection and rights of persons with disabilities who are not eligible for protection and advocacy services for people with Development Disabilities (PADD) and Program of Protection and Advocacy for Persons with Mental Illness (MTAP) Program, or whose problems are beyond the scope of services offered by the Customer Care Program (PAC).

General Program Requirements

To qualify for this benefit program, you must have a child with a disability, or you must have a disability that prevents him from functioning independently in family or community.
