Starting yesterday a brand new program opened up in the state of Alabama for the unemployed that allows them to receive up to $15,000 in mortgage payments for up to a year. This new miracle is due to the Alabama Housing Finance Authority receiving $162 million in federal foreclosure prevention funds as part of a $2 billion national plan to aid certain unemployed homeowners who have defaulted on some of their mortgage payments. These days, a good amount of homeowners across the country are facing major hardship that affect their financial life. A person’s mortgage is the most significant aspect of one’s financial life and he or she should take advantage of helpful opportunities when they come around.
