Program Description
The purpose of the research program, the scholarship is to create research capacity by supporting highly qualified people, including those who are individuals with disabilities, do some research on the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
Scholars must be carried out original research in the field authorized § 204 Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. § 204 to authorize the investigation is intended to maximize the full inclusion and social integration, employment, independent living, family support and social and economic self-sufficiency of people with disabilities, especially people with severe disabilities.
General Program Requirements
Only people who have training and experience which indicates a potential to participate in scientific research related to solving problems of rehabilitation of disabled persons are eligible. The program offers two categories of awards: scholarships and fellowships awarded.
